The Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association represents approximately 8,000 career professional Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Paramedics throughout Pennsylvania. The Association represents emergency responders in such towns as Aliquippa, Allegheny County, Altoona, Ambridge, Baldwin, Beaver Falls, Bensalem Twp. Berks County, Bethlehem, Bradford, Butler, Carbondale, Chester, Coatesville, Connellsville, Corry, Dormont, Dunmore, Easton, East Whiteland Twp., Emmaus, Erie, Franklin, Goshen, Greater Chambersburg, Greater York, Greenville, Hanover, Harrisburg, Harrisburg Airport, Hazleton, Jeannette, Johnstown, Lancaster, Lebanon, Landsdale Lehigh-Northampton Airport, Lewisburg Prof. Fire Fighters and EMT's, Lower Merion, Luzerne County, Malvern, Manchester Township, Manheim Township, McKeesport, Meadville, Montgomery Township, Mount Lebanon, Nanticoke, New Castle, Norristown, North Strabane, Oil City, Peters Twp., Philadelphia, Pittston Township, Reading, Ridley, Scranton, Sharon, South Strabane, Southern Berks Professional EMS Providers, Swissvale, Titusville, Uniontown, Upper Darby Professional Fire Fighters, Upper Darby Paramedics, Upper Moreland, Warren, Washington, Washington County EMS Professionals, Waynesboro, West Hazleton, Western Berks Fire Fighters, Whitpain Township, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, Wilson Borough, Wyomissing, & York. This association is a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). The IAFF is an international union affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the Canadian Labour Congress. The IAFF represents approximately 320,000 paid professional fire service/emergency service employees in the United States and Canada. The membership of the IAFF is employed by various parties which include: the Federal Government, States, Counties, Municipalities, Fire Districts, Airports and Private Industry.
